Your customers love to hear from you. Show them what you are up to. It does NOT always have to be a sale or an event. Show them that you are human. Your customers will love you for it. The more you use Buzz Frenzy, the better the software will learn from you. Similarly, the more you use it, the better you will learn what your customers respond to. So Buzz away!


Facebook likes information to be ”present”, meaning they prefer new stuff to old stuff. Your post will Buzz for up to 48 hours. It may live on as people continue to like, comment, or share it, but that isn’t guaranteed. Know that everything on Facebook is fleeting by design (including Buzz).

All that being said, when you want to Buzz something, Buzz it when you want people to see it.

Buzzing happens (almost) immediately, but is still subject to Facebook review. Whenever you add your #Buzztag to a post, it will be amplified as soon as within a few minutes or up to a few hours (if it gets caught up in the review process). 99% of the time things will go swimmingly, so prepare for your post to Buzz quickly. If you buzz at 2am, it will start buzzing at 2:05am. If you buzz at 8am it will be buzzing by 8:15am.


You should Buzz often, but not too often. What you want to do is be the interesting person at a cocktail party that everyone wants to talk to. You do not want to be the person on a street corner with a bullhorn that everyone tries to avoid.

You have a set amount of money to use each month that gets rationed out per post. If you Buzz too often, your posts won’t have as much reach. A good 2 to 4 posts per week will give you plenty of honey for your money.

They also have a fancy schmancy tool to help you figure it out. Your best bet, though, is to not use pictures with words on it at all.

What does work? Pictures of people. We humans respond well to other humans. Smiling humans are even better. And, rather counterintuitively, women will look at pictures of women first and men will look at men. Keep that in mind if you are trying to drive a certain audience to a post.

Also, people respond well to kittens and puppies. But if you put a picture of a kitten up, it better take you to a site about kittens. Anything less makes people upset.

More than anything else, though, pictures have a huge impact on Resonance. It is always better to include a picture than not.


Facebook reviews every post you try to buzz (it’s not you, they do it to everybody), so you need to follow their rules. Don’t try to buzz anything lude, crude, nude, or rude (the “Udes”), so that means no dirty words, nudity, or hateful messages. Organic (Free) reach is what we are all trying to achieve.

You will notice that, when you Buzz something, as your paid (Buzzed) reach grows so will your organic (Free) reach. This is normal and to be expected, and a wonderful phenomenon of Buzzed posts. The more people who like, share, and comment on your posts – whether paid or organic – the more they will drive organic traffic to your post.

Also, you may notice your traffic will grow the longer you Buzz. This is also normal. People typically need to be exposed to content several times before they act on it. As people see your posts more often, the more inclined they will be to engage with your business.

The more you use Buzz Frenzy, the better you will understand what works for you. And that’s the most important thing – what works for you.
